How the service works:

My 3 step process

1. Meet and greet, questionnaire and quote:

Meet & Greet: I will arrange an appointment with you to meet you and your pet(s) - either at your home or a nearby green space, as you prefer. I will provide proof of business insurance and a DBS (criminal records) certificate.

You can assess how your pet responds to me. We will discuss your requirements and your pets’ needs and restrictions (*1): e.g., frequency and duration of walks, after walk bath/ brush, any training, feeding, security, etc.

Recall: We will discuss your dog’s level of training and recall with you, so that we can decide if walks should be on or off-lead / training lead and where it would be safe to walk.

Compatibility: We will check compatibility of my service against your requirements and your pet’s needs. If my service is not right for you, or you do not wish to proceed, there will be no charge.

Quote: I will quote a price based on all the above requirements.

2. Trial walk: I will carry out a free trial walk with your dog(s), which is best done when I can collect your dog(s) from your home at a time when you are in (less stressful for the dogs).

3. Bookings: You can then book either regular walks directly with me via email / SMS and/or book adhoc appointments using the online form (minimum 24 hours notice, depending on availability). You can cancel individual appointments or the whole service with 24 hours notice.

Robert is totally reliable and punctual on walk days and takes great care to give our retriever Loki a lovely excursion to the park and a hose down afterwards. Loki now waits by the door for Robert and is always very pleased to see him.

Rob has been walking our dog Winston for a little while now and I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. He’s excellent with Winston, flexible and always keeps us updated. We always feel confident with Rob taking Winston out and Winston loves going on walks with him!
